Tarpon tarpon tarpon

Tarpon fished out of Venice today , we landed 5 and hooked 7-8 getting them to jump. There were 6 other boats fishing around us today and the 7 boat total was 21 landed 34 jumped!!! All solid 100-180 lb fish hooked / landed. Had a great time!

Man, that sounds like a lot of fun. How did you catch them? I have always wanted to catch a tarpon but figured I'd have to go to Florida to do it.

fished with coon schouest , he is a great fisherman and a all around good guy! i highly recommend fishing with him if you want to get on big tarpon! |
