I need a tent....

I'm going camping Friday night with my dad and my son. I haven't camped in years so I don't have any gear. If any of you had a tent and a couple of cots I could borrow I would appreciate it. I'll be done with it Saturday afternoon. I would buy something but for a one time event I can't justify it.

You can buy a decent tent at Walmart for under 50 bucks if you can't find one

Thanks, I didn't know they were that cheap.

I'm in Moss Bluff, but I appreciate the offer.

I have a nice portable propane camp stove/griddle you are welcome to borrow. No tent, though. I also have a 4' folding table you can use, too.

I am in Da bluff. Also a queen blow up mattress (must have electricity for blower motor)

This is a church trip and they are providing the food, so I'm ok in that area. I appreciate the offer though. There's no electricity for air mattresses.

If your close to a car or four wheeler the 12 volt pumps work great on the air mattress. When I camp I use an air mattress. Such a back saver.

I've never been to this campground so I'm not sure how close I'll be to a vehicle.

Go to academy and get a handpump to blow up the mattress. They about 15-20 bucks.

My air mattress is self inflating. Takes some D batteries. Not very expensive at all. Would be something to look in to.

Sounds like a good idea.

where yallgoin?

scott craft 09-03-2013 04:24 PM

Camp Edgewood.

weedeater 09-03-2013 05:05 PM

been along time but use to you could get a truck right up to camp spots. I would invest in a cheap fan that runs off a battery and bring a deep cycle battery to power it plus you can run the pump for air mattress. ... thank me later

I would have to buy a battery. I know I'm going to suffer, but as long as the kid has fun it will be worth it.
