Sabine Lake
I have never fished Sabine lake nor have I been there. How for is it from calcasieu point and how do you get there?

Looking at a map, it looks to be about 32 miles from Calcasieu Pt. landing just to get to the north end of the lake.
From the Bunt out bridge launch, it is about 10 miles to the north end of the lake.

East bank of sabine has many good areas of shore line cuts and canals that have been producing on in coming tide. Wind's have been between east to northeast and some southeast . Eastbank has been very productive good fishn to ya!!.

dont leave anything you want to keep out at burn out bridge.

Watch the wind,SW makes the north end off color a bit. Lot of fish on the north end and up the river and bayous this time of year. Inter coastal to Sabine river in Orange. MR CRAB made the run last year for salty cajun tournament for time.

45 min from cal pt to cow bayou. cruised around 40 mph. expensive trip for a guy like me. just sayin. I'll prolly never do it again
