Cabelas' ATV

I am looking to buy my daughter her first 4-wheeler. I am usually a Honda or Yamaha kinda guy. However, the only bike I can find that is truly less that 300cc, automatic and in a camo pattern is a Coleman 270cc, sold exclusively at Cabelas. Does anyone have experience with this product?

I recently did some research on a bennche side by side. Bennche, coleman, and a few others are made in china by a company called hisun. Don't know how they hold up in the long run.

Check out ATV Zone in Roseland, La. They sell Polaris. They have small ATV's and UTV's. Or better yet go to Polaris.com and check out. They have a RZR 70 that is sweet. They make 90's and 50's in blue and pink. My son bought a 800 RZRs from them and they were good to deal with and had best price. Hope this helps.

I bought my kids the Yamaha 125. It wasn't camo but was an excellent 4 wheeler I'd recommend to anyone.

Thing about buying a 4 wheeler is that your kids will not stay babies but the 4 wheeler will. Buy a little bigger one, spend some money on it and she will get a lot more use out of it. Plus it will last longer. My little boy is 9 and he rides a 300 like he stole it. He has also taken my father in laws Big Bear 400 on a spin around the lease without problems.

If the coleman atv is of the same quality as their outboard motors they sell at academy, I would stay away from it.

i agree my boy is 7 and has been riding a rancher 350 es 2wd for 2 years now. he can't do very good with the brakes but i limit him to 2nd gear and he does good hasn't wrecked it yet. Main thing is ride with them till they get comfortable they get distracted at these ages very quick.

and as far as im concerned i will never have to buy him another one
