This is a shot in the dark but maybe it will turn something up. Sometime in the last 5 days some POS broke into the front(locked) compartment of my boat and stole my HDS-8 and HDS-5 along with all my tackle. Both lowrance units have covers and the 8 has a SD card in it. Tackle bag was a light blue Plano bag. My boat is docked at Devils Elbow where the items were stolen. If someone offers to sell them to you please call me or the CPSO

Don't call the CPSO. Detain them and let skeeter beat the living crap out of them!!!! I hate a thief! Buddy of mine had all his rods and tackle stole a couple weeks ago. $800.00 gone!

They know fishing equipment is hard to trace and gets good money at the pawn shop. Its really getting out of control these days.

One of these thieves are going to get a hot piece of lead in their a** if they keep messing around with sportsmen's stuff!!

The bad thing is that only 2 pawn shops in town take fishing electronics. I have checked with one of them and a buddy that works for one of the shops said he only takes it if it has all the cords, sonar, etc.... They left all that on the boat. Only took the head units.

two reports of this in two days ... some SC member is eventually going to get lucky enough to catch one of these thiefs and teach em a lesson
