Like new 2008 Mitzi 17 powered by a 50hp Mercury 2 stroke(tops out at 38mph) with only 22 hours on it. This is a great redfishing rig with a 7" draft loaded. Boat is rigged with a 55lb thrust Minnkota Riptide w/detachable bracket & Stiff Arm, an 18 foot fiberglass push pole, color GPS/Chartplotter, 95 quart Igloo ice chest with snap-on cushion, two 6 gallon fuel tanks, and a Magic Tilt trailer w/spare. Asking $14,300 O.B.O. The only reason I'm selling this boat is to upgrade to a larger more family-friendly one. If you're interested feel free to contact me at 337-254-7958 or just send a "PM", the boat is located near Lafayette.

I tried posting pic's but my computer shut me down, if you'd like to see some click on the link below.

Thanks,

SH

these boats have a great reputation, how much water do you need to get on plane?

Very nice!

The Salty Hog 05-26-2009 04:11 AM

It'll get up in about foot with someone on the bow.

With trim tabs, you may beable to get it to jump up in that by yourself. I hear they do great with tabs, I just never really saw the need for em'.

It's really been a great boat, I just want something bigger for the family.

Thanks for the compliments,

SH

Hog, can't beleive your selling your pride and joy! I thought about you when I went pick up my Ranger in Tallahasse and laughed about you "bouncing" that empty trailer all the way to Florida when you went get the boat. Did Coon ever fall off the polling platform?

LoL!!!........Yeah man I sure am, I want to go with something bigger, and no Coon hasn't busted his rear-end yet, he never would stay up there for very long but, it still could happen!...Congrats on your trip to the Du this past weekend, I heard y'all whore em' out! You would have seen me there if it wasn't for motor problems that morning at Wine Island, the day ended early with us having to pull-start a 200hp HPDI....lol!.....I'll tell you the story at the wedding in two weeks!

BTW- Thanks Salty!

Dood, where ya been?

The Salty Hog 01-28-2010 02:28 PM

Man, I've been busy with the kids and deer hunting like a fool. Haven't been online as much. I will be now though, works slowed down and that fishing fever's setting in hard, ready for another year on the water.
