Yep, just ordered one myself. I have a 2005 model 7" screen and can't see the screen very well in the sunlight. With or without sunglasses on.
I know this will be a smaller screen but should be a real upgrade being a new model.

Got an email, they are back ordered until August 21st for the ones who ordered online. Not too big of a deal for me so not going to cancel my order.
