Almost home
Well I have another week about till I get back to the state I love. In Portugal right now about to pull out and head back across the Atlantic. How has everyone been? How is the fishing for both fresh and saltwater? I'll have to head back to Norfolk around the 16th so I wanna he some fishing squeezed in there.

Thanks for your service. Sometimes it's tough when you are in the service and all over the world, but I promise you that you will never regret those experiences later in life.
What ship are you on? How is Portugal?

So I went fishing in Pierre Part at my Paw Paw's camp and had a family gathering. First one in Pierre Part since my Paw Paw passed away May 29 when I was in UAE.
I went catfishing in Lake Verret with my Uncle and brought my girlfriend as an anniversary trip.
Well the weather was looking bad for Saturday but we decided to just roll with it and am I glad we did.
Morning started off kind of slow with only 3 fish in 45 minutes.
Then Kate turned the fish switch on...the only person I know to cast in the middle of nowhere and start catching fish left and right. She caught probably 10 more fish than me and my uncle combined.
I think we're losing our fish catching capabilities haha.
So anyway, we caught probably 50 catfish but only kept 15 of them. Not a bad day I'll post up a picture of them later since I'm on the computer and the pictures are on the phone.
