Took this pick the other morning running thru shark bayou. Can't figure out what the two orb like lights are. Looked a again today and nothing is there that would set those kinda lights off. Attachment 51823

My girlfriend took this pic at sunset while I was fishing on a pier in panama a few weeks ago. Seems to clear to be another planet.Attachment 51824

Looks to be other planets? I take it you didn't see them until the pics though, so it could be moisture in the air.

I think orbs are the goofiest thing ever. I'd love to talk to a photo developer cuz I'm sure they have something to do with glitches in the developing process

It's the sun and the moon. The moon revolves around the earth as the earth revolves around the sun. Sometimes the moon is off the horizon and sometimes we get the opposite position in which we could have a lunar eclipse. (solar eclipse? My memory's shot).

The moon is not full right now

Some of the photography gurus I work with say that it looks like a speck of water on the camera lens and the water actually magnifies the sunlight. Also a speck of dust on the lens will cause a black spot.

Def the moon

bgizzle 06-17-2013 08:39 AM

Well that only covers one speckle. What bout the green one

Duck Butter 06-17-2013 08:42 AM

Dust or smudge on your lens or sensor, you wouldn't notice it unless you are pointing at a bright subject such as the sun. Sun illuminates it, that is all nothing more nothing less:)

I have lots of dust on my cameras and lenses:rotfl:

Clampy 06-17-2013 09:49 AM

Green one is dust.

Clampy 06-17-2013 09:50 AM

Dust on lens or a smudge will reflect the sun and cause the glow balls.
