Perdido day one bust
 

So I head out at 5 this morning hoping to get on some topwater at big lagoon before the wind picked up only to find seashore doesn't open till 8. I leave from there figuring I could surf fish a bit while waiting on 8am. I get down to the beach and realize I should of brought my surf board rather than my pole. Not knowing what else to do at this point I figured I would go explore a bit. While I was going to load the pole I hook my shorts with a mirrodine. No big deal I grab my pliers and go to pull it out. The hook comes free and straight into my ring finger. Picked up a bottle of alcohol and tried to get it out myself, but can't. So now I'm sitting on my balcony at 6:30 waiting on a clinic to open at 8. Not exactly the plan. Attachment 51338

That sucks, don't know what it is but the last 2 days have been full of little mishaps for me. Stupid little stuff, must be moon phase...

yikes!! That blows man! If it helps at all, I caught some trout in some of those surf boarding waves on topwater! I couldn't believe it, but they were there. I was throwing one of those chugging spooks and just trying to make as much noise as I could.

It's definitely time for the florabama now.

Mine's laughing her butt off at me right now at the doctor. She thinks its funny. We both laughed when the nurse mentioned anti biotics. No way I'm not drinking all week lol

Yep, I'm not bring ing one hook on vacation in a few weeks - not going to take the chance with my luck!
