Toledo Bend memorial weekend
 

Fished for an hour Sat evening and managed 11 bass on crankbaits in 10-15 ft... Mostly spotted bass.

Sunday morning was greeted with a solid topwater bite early. Managed these in the pic just on topwater. Top 3 went 4lb, 3 3/4lb, and a little shy of 3lb. Also managed a big WP on topwater as well. Managed 12-15 other bass on humps on c rigs and crank baits.

Sunday afternoon was a little slower with only 4 keepers and 6 throwbacks. Great weekend for fishing and family. Ready to head back. Largemouth havent made it to the deeper water yet. Most were caught in buck brush or thickets midlake (Big Bass). Not a bad weekend for fishing solo.

I got a video of that 4lb hitting topwater and getting hung up in a tree then getting run over by the boat. Gonna try to post it later. cant do it from work.

Yea we went for a couple days and we left today. We noticed the afternoon bite was slow but yesterday we caught 10-15 bass. Caught some on crankbaits on points,and some on the deeper banks with senkos and on unweighted flukes.
