Crab Stew Recipe

I got a bunch to cook and want to make a stew, post up your secret recipes!

No secret here... Just melt some butter, sauté up some Holy Trinity then add some flower, you may need to add a little oil at this point also.

Keep stirring until your roux is to your liking and add a little water and let it cook for 30 minutes or so, then add the crab, turn on low, put the lid on and let them do their thing.

They cook quick but I like to let it simmer for an hour with the crabs...... Then cook some rice.

Yep... that is right. Just don't add too much.

I use the fat out the shells in my crab stews. Sometimes I put the eggs too.

What are you referring to as eggs?

The orange stuff in the crabs. On the females. The one with painted claws abs and a striped abdominal plate.
