Family got together last night, cooked a big meal and had a little jam session.

I just gotta show off a little. Last night was Hueys first time playing infront of anyone but me......and he did great!

Normally this would be a thread about what we cooked, but this puts the food on the back burner.........

Unfortunately that is the truth. I picked up some French in school and a good bit in Nova Scotia. After years of not using it I quickly realize how much I forgot when my grandparents starts talking to me. My parents never picked it up so I'm scrambling to learn as much as I can before they are gone. I hope to be able to pass some on to my son. He already LOVES Cajun music. The only way to calm him down is with Johnny Sonnier's "Chere Alice"

Piano very little...
Fiddle, I can play at times, it ain't easy, but I can scratxh out a song. But when its time to learn a new one..... Well.....lets just say when I do, the cat runs for the border.....
