Blood Orange Short Ribs & Veggies
The wife has been out of town and I wanted to cook dinner without her involvement so she could recuperate from the long driving. I started with the potatoes, New Potatoes Herbs De Provence. while those were boiling a bit til tender I steamed the carrots for Honey Butter & Dill Carrots.
These were delicious! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01490.jpg I forgot to get pctures while cooking the carrots but you'll see them plated. The short ribs on the Primo Oval Jr. sauced with that Blood Orange & Jalapeno Pepper sauc I made last night. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01502.jpg I couldn't decide which plated picture to post so here's two different angles. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01504.jpg http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01507.jpg The sauce was absolutely fantastic! I hope to find time this weekend to make a big batch and can some. I wish I had thought about making this stuff all Winter long with these oranges. Mmm.........Mmmmmmmmm....... |
