FFL almost done!
 

I should finish up on my ffl tomorrow morning! Man, its been a long road, a lot of hoops to jump through and, nerve-racking as heck! I hope it keeps up and that the city and atf don't suddenly crawfish!

Thanks Mike! Man, the last 24 hours have been hectic. I started all of this as a sole proprietor. Under the advice of my attorney, he told me not to...The app was already done. I've learned that you can set up an LLC in one day and, obtain an EIN in a few minutes...It's been a heckuva time, the last 24 hours!

Now, it's on to tracking down vendors, building a website (2 weeks) and, obtaining my sponsorship here, once I have some inventory.

There's a lot that has to be considered on your local level, when all I was worried about before was the Fed level. There are classifications of weapons that I can sell as soon as the ATF is gone. Other types of weapons (used), I have to put up big bonds on and wait 30 days after inspection. I also have to obtain different licenses from the city to do so. Again, my head is spinning! I never knew I would have to do so much in such a short time. I also didn't know that I could pull it off...Assuming all goes well with the ATF tomorrow!

Yessir. Nevermind what the city looked at me like when I walked in and asked for a business license this morning! I thought to myself that I had walked in to rob the place. There are still a lot of permits that will come up in the coming months. I have several thousand dollars to put up to deal in any used arms yet and, a lot of paperwork that will be required on the local and federal level.

I'm working on a deal with Springfield and their XD line of pistols right now. It's gonna save everyone $ when it's done. When my website is done and, posted here(as a sponsor), we'll roll on all sorts of Springfield and, Beretta pistols!:work:

Maybe you and Speckdaddy can make a commercial. It's not like you haven't rehearsed the ".40 cal" commercial before.... lol

Keep in mind that these pistols will be available everywhere, even in the suddenly liberal states that have capacity limits. It's going to make them even harder to get your hands on than the .45! With everyone thinking that 10 or less is "safer", it will drive the demand on these firearms through the roof!

Ahh, the good old days of going through the FFL process. I am going to upgrade to an 07 with SOT sooner or later. Just dreading the process again.

Yeah, I think before the end of the year, I will be doing the SOT thing as well. I'm looking toward Class 3 stuff though. There's a few toys that I've ALWAYS wanted and, I can't get em without it.

That said, the meeting went well this morning. There's a few folks around town that I'll be covering deductibles:rotfl: for but, I got the occupational license handled! Much to my disappointment, I have to wait another two to three weeks for my license to show up:cry:...I really wanted to get to ordering some XD series pistols today. That's alright. It will come soon enough.
