Decided to make a trip to Big Lake late this morning because I did’t feel like being in the house and it was a awesome looking day outside. Hit a couple of random spots in the middle of the lake and by basket reef to find the water was dirty, but the trout were hungry today and out of all the fish that were caught and released today there were none with any size to brag about. All the trout caught were keepers if I would have been in the keeping and cleaning mood. The bait of choice today was the Vudu shrimp and there were two different colors used today the white with chart. tail and the natural. Both produced a trout about every fifth are sixth cast. When the wind picked up so did I. The water temp was between 57 and 59 degrees and the water was getting dirty by the minute. When I started fishing the tide was going out and when I was heading in the tide was coming in. Fished the Vudu shrimp under a cork and without a cork keeping it just off the bottom.
