Hows the water up there. My brother said it was hi in Tensas

adamsfence 10-19-2009 07:50 AM

it's real high the park on the reserve is almost under water in the lower end water everywhere in the lease....hope this don't mess up our duck hunting the water has been high all summer and they are saying they don't want to kill the trees and they might not flood the timber this year....hope not anyway

adamsfence 10-19-2009 07:52 AM

awesome. my weekend was very slow. Saw 2 does saturday afternoon but out of bow range. Had to wade through water over my waist friday in knee boots to get to my stand. We have lots of water and very little acorns this year. The deer are eating 50 lbs. of rice bran in 2 nights right now.

Yeah was not expecting that. Never have I seen that much water on our lease. But it was either walk though it or go back to the truck. Should have went back to the truck esp. when it turned daylight and I had wood sucks swimming in front of me where my rice bran once was.
