Great Fund Raising Idea!!

And beer drinking idea! I say we get together and have a crawfish boil off!! Im sure there are a few people on the site (me included) who think there crawfish are the best. Each person puts up x amount of money to go to the pot (no pun there) and we can divide up the prize money, first, second and third, with 50% of all proceeds going to a local charity. (maybe heberts landing!!!, lol). And if we have some patrons who want to come and sample the different chef's dishes they could put up maybe 15$ each. maybe if we get a good group of people willing to put up a few dollars we can supply all of the beer and have a great time while making money for the community

Do the judges eat free? I'll volunteer!

simplepeddler 02-13-2013 11:37 AM

15 bucks allows spectators to taste and vote for the best.
You get a vote card, and a one quart bucket...........go by each pot, get a quart of dads..........then, cast your vote. Eat dads till the gone........

how about something different? Like "(craw)Dads for dads" and the money raised going to a men's support group...........dadsdivorce.com or a men's halfway house or a local church's mens ministry.........
