Non toxic 7 1/2 or 8 shot
Thinking about hunting snipe at Cameron prairie. Any idea where to get shells?

You can shoot lead for snipe.

No lead on NWR's. That would be tough to find. You can try Internet shopping or em like Rogers sporting goods.

They make steel 7s that are great for woodcock and snipe. I always got them from Academy. They were fairly cheap too, like less than $8/box

academy in LC is full up with 7.5 and 8 shot(not target loads), they have them in the area where the cases of shells are.

Got the 7s at academy for 9.99. Went today and used #6, didn't tear the birds up bad at all.
