Me and my son hit the lake this morning. Finished 2 trout and 1 red short. Good trip. 1/8 Yellow mouth jigs with natural shrimp diet mullet and pearl/pink/chart Crazy croakers were the best baits by far. Better fish caught on reefs. Burned 4 gallons of gas.

Looks like it was a good day on the water. Glad you got time with your son. Can never get enough of that!
Where were you fishing? Going on Wednesday, so looking for where they are biting.
