2012 National Retriever Championship is being held this week in and around Anderson Tx. The fourth series water marks begin this morning and there are 88 dogs running the 4th. All of these dogs are on "Whistles and Hand Signals" and happen to be the best in America.

Is Ed Thibodeaux running at this one? Other locals?

Ed wishes he was there. Only Louisiana handlers are; Dr Steve Ritter New Iberia Am, and Mark Smith South Lake Retrievers Laplace. 4th is letting alot of "blood" out of the field this morning.

Didn't know Dr. Ritter had one running this well again!

Miah went out in the 3rd on water blind. Several of her puppies are still in, Slider for sure.

Pulling for the LA boy Ali. What's up with Grady not running any more trials? Is he still having medical problems?

Raymond 11-13-2012 08:05 PM

Grady has retired and is living the life of rielly. Chad is probably running his last national for the forseable future per his last post. It will become almost impossible for anybody to ever win back to back nationals like he did it and at his age.

Going out on top!

Ali had a good 5th series and handled the quad unlike some of the others. Tex and Ali are still clean going into the 6th series and Mark is doing a great job with them. FC Moody's Jumping Jack Flash is also clean and my boy Al's daddy along with Chris Bruno dog Boggy. Wish I had time to go watch tomorrow morning, maybe I'll ask the wifey??????
