foundation repair

I called 3 companys all said I need65-68 piers. But the prices are way different!! From 15k to 26k.
A. Doses this sound about right?
B. The major price difference is just concrete piers, concrete with wire,or concrete with steel rebar.
C. They all have lifetime warrantys and have been in biz. For over 30 year's. But only two of them pay into the state fund for a real warranty!
What do ya'll thank about it? I know some of ya'll have had it done and there's a few home builders in the bunch. is why I am asking cause it's alot of money either way.

Ask for references from both between 5-10 yrs post leveling. My house had a foundation repair done prior to purchase that didn't need to be done but the builder paid in order to get the owner off his back. Had national foundation repair come out prior to purchase and they said it didn't need to be done and showed me why. Is house in tx or la?

Tx. In black dirt. It needs it cause you can see the cracks in the walls and feel it in the floor. I have talked to a couple people from the two I am looking at but think I will call some more, just to be sure.
