Jack plate..Help..
Hi Guys.. I'm wanting to get a Atlas Hydraulic Jack-Plate.
This is for my 24' Triton LTS... 250 Yama 4 stroke. A few friends have motors with 6'' offsets. Is this enough?? Should I look into a 8", 10" ??? I think I know a few of the pros. Are there ANY CONS to them??? Will I have to RE-PROP my engine after I get this installed???? I want it MORE to get it up when I'm in the reefs.. I hope to get Trim my bow up a little more when TRIMMED UP....I know I may get a little better gas mileage and speed.. Again I Mainly want it for the Reefs.. Any help would be appreciated... PLease respond to Gunner AKA Biggun, on here , a private message, or text or email.. 337-781-9581 Thanks Biggun |

I looked into getting one on my 240LTSpro .. Called triton and they said no more than a 6" is suggested. Unless you are wanting it to idle thru shallow I doubt you will see any benefit to getting it . I decided against it on my boat
