was wondering if anybody has heard of any reports by hog island for cast netting? or can tell me of another really good spot

They have been catching some shrimp in the Sabine Wildlife Refuge area, especially with the upcoming front getting ready to pass through.

Just remember you can only cast net out of a boat in the refuge. If this is incorrect someone help me out.

yes sir, you are correct. they have shut down several places thru there where you cant castnet. but yes, only from a boat and only a 5 gal bucket full. another reason i was looking for another place to cast net from thats easy to get to and good shrimping
