what do you put reel butter or reel grease on and what do you put reel oil on?

You put grease on the gears and oil on the bearings. You can put a drop of oil on the worm gear also.

Very little grease and a tiny drop of oil on bearings.

Youtube has some excellent videos on cleaning reels specific to the make of the reel. Do a Youtube search and see what you come up with (cleaning shimano reels).
