Muddy water

Hey guys,
I live in north Louisiana but fish the Dulac marsh several times a year and have been trying to set up a trip down but it appears the waters are very muddy from Isaac. It has been almost 3 weeks since Isaac came through and I expected the water to clear up much sooner than this. Is this normal? How long does it normally take for the water to clear up?

Thanks for the information.

Has more to do w persistent west winds now. I think the guides are catching a lot of reds and trout when wind is ok.

What general area were you fishing and were you catching reds or trout?

Thanks
