Bass to redfish weekend
Sold my truck to a good friend of mine, and we planned on doing some fishing when he came and picked it up. We divided that since it would be my "last" fishing trip we would go from bass to redfish. Thursday I began the fishing journey by picking him up at Dallas airport and making the drive back to Shreveport (6hrs total drive) Friday we began the fishing journey on the red river in Shreveport. We ended up catching 19 with this as the biggest one at 3.0lbs. Not breaking any records but good for just 3hrs of bass fishing.

Wanted some sight fishing so we headed to the marsh. We were able to sight fish 6 reds while push poling the boat around. Until storms gusty winds shut the sight fishing down. We ended up in a creek and finishing out limit working jigs on the bottom. http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...9/IMAG0028.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...assredfish.jpg Sunday, went out but under a tight schedule, on the water at 6 off at 9 with 10 trout and 6 reds and a flounder (slam). Headed in and cleaned the boat up and drove it to Prairieville. After that was done I turned around and drove back to Shreveport. http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q.../adamtrout.jpg Total driving time: 17hrs 30mins 'ish Total fish caught: 19 bass, 16 reds, 10 trout, 2 flounders |
