best way to siphon gas
 
whats the best way to siphon gas out of a boat? last time i had an electric motor fuel pump but i cant find it ... anyone have any tips ?

I disconnected the hose on the down side of primer bulb and used the bulb to get the flow going....it takes a while with the small fuel line but I was in no hurry.

Academy has them for about $7. I use one to transfer fuel offshore.Attachment 39594

You can also run to autozone and pick up a little bulb pump for a few dollars. I got one a few years ago

Get a electric inline fuel pump from NAPA & about 10' or more of fuel line hose, extra wire with wire nuts & & 2 alligator clips, assemble hook to battery & get to pumping.

I call those a jack off hose....works good once you get it going
