Big trout and tripletail on the dock

Big solid speckled trout in the 2 to 4 pound range have been coming in all week. Good fish were caught mostly on live mullet while fishing on the bottom using a small round weight about a foot above the hook. Even Poohdreaux got in on some of the action this past Monday while fishing with the pro along the ship channel. This is a GREAT time of the year to be part of the fishing action on Lake Calcasieu.
