Shan, Boston, Delcambre, and 4 mile canal.

Has anyone heard of anyone catching at these places recently?

Hit and miss. I'm headed out as soon as I run some errands. Should be on water by 3. I'm fishing the point side of the bay though.

Launched in delcambre and ran down canal to the Chene(sp?). stopped at a few points and side canals in delcambre to castnet for bait. caught a few live shrimp and mullet.
fished against the rocks and banks at mouth of chene, live bait, dead bait, and plastics, just a few croaker. ran to that abandoned platform south of chene, nothing not even a hardhead. but i have no clue what i'm doing i'm just a rookie.

anyone fish that abandoned platform? are there reefs south of the Chene? saw a few pvc poles didn't know what they were marking. lots of crab traps in that area too.

btw that's a long @ss haul from Delcambre to bay.

I was catching reds on spinners north of the intracostal but they have all moved out of that area. I'm not sure if there are reefs to the south, I only know of dry reef but that's on the other side of the bay. I haven't tried any of these areas yet so I was asking around to see if there was anything worth while. Probably have to wait til September or October for fishing to pick up at these areas.
