Dularge Trout Slam

Another very good day of whacking and stacking the trout Dularge style. Andy Rulf with Seacor was back on board with Sean & Regan Carpenter. Only made 2 stops to find the fish as the reds and trout ate up our live croakers in 3-4 ft of water. Good trout up to 18-20 inches today along with some nice 7-8 lb reds. We did not have a fast bite but stuck with it until the box was full. We brought in 55 fish today. Never went any further than the islands. Andy had his rod & reel pulled out the boat by a redfish so he jumped out the boat not to be denied and found it about 50 yards from the boat. Yes the red was still on the line and it qualified for the ride home! Now thats luck!! Beat the heat getting back to the lodge for noon. A beautiful day on the water! Good luck fishing.
