Marsh Anchor

I am in need of an anchor to fish around the big lake area, I am looking at academy at a 6' steel pole/marsh anchor, is this long enough and is this what I should be looking for, I have a 20' pontoon boat.

Thanks in advance,

Bret

not really unless you already have a regular anchor. Those are really only good in 3-4ft or less

What type of anchor do you recommend?

Shovel anchor is what I call them. You'll know what I'm talking about if you see em. It curves in and looks like the nose of a shovel

you can use the search option at the top of the page also. There are several more threads about anchors with good info but I dont feel like digging through them right now
