monday evening on grand isle

Had another bad day on the island. Got in the surf at around 430pm and nothing. Hit the rocks by the water tower and behind bridgeside. Water was decent and really calm just no fish.

There are good days of fishing, and there are days that help us to appreciate the good days of fishing

What did you use for bait? The livies ae hot right now. At least you reported the bad. Can't do anything but get better the next time out.

I was using deadly Dudleys. Ihad a few live shrimp but wasn't equipped with a floating bait bucket. I left that at home. I'm going to be better equipped next time. I just don't like the hastle of live bait on the beach
