More good times today with Brian Vesey, Aldo Mejia Jaramillo, and Dwain St. Martin. My guys came to fish, and fish hard they did. We were laying the smack-down on them at day break with the yellow-mouths coming in from both sides of the boat just about every-cast. When the bite slowed down we made a quick move and as soon as I stopped the boat we were slinging them in two at a time on the double rigged Avocado Matrix Shad, it just doesn't get any better!! With the ice chest filling up quickly the bite slowed down again. Two more moves and we had them coming in again just about every-cast on live minnows. I hooked a trout and as I was reeling it in saw what appeared to be a shark come up and eat my trout. Well after a good five minute fight of what appeared to be a shark ended up being a 41 inch Cobia. This fish wanted nothing to do with the net and avoided it at all cost, until finally it wore itself out and omitted defeat!! Great time with these guys and looking forward to day 2 tomorrow with them. Big Thanks to Capt Chris Venable for running the second Boat with Darren Ladner with Sparrows, the guys also had a blast filling up the box. Thanks guys, and good luck fishing.
