specks with worms?
Made a trip to the lake, endex up leaving with 10. After I started filleting them I noticed se had worms. I ended up having to trash about half the meat because it wouldnt even have been worth it to cut them out. They were in various size fish from 15" - 23" anybody else had this problem. First time ive seen worms in something other than a drum or Redfish

Every speck I've ever cleaned in my life had worms lol. Like stated earlier. Drop em in hot grease and the worms cook to nothing.

If the trout don't have worms I throw em away

If worms were bad, ratdog would have never ate. He's all about his fish and spaghetti being caught at the same time.

those worms are a parasite that can only transition into its next phase of its life after being eaten by a shark. im almost positive i read that somewhere. could be wrong. i have pulled some monster worms out of trout if they are huge i will slice em out but for the most part the hell with it.

Worms are the best part.
That's how specs get their flavor sammich |
