Do you use it for mangroves. If you do,what dive and brand do you like.

I use seaguar 40lb. Just wondering what others do.

Its a must for Mangroves. And you better bury your hook good too or youll never catch one

depends where i fish for em, if the river is above 8' in nola and im fishing east bay youu can catch em with no fluro and straight 65# braid, if im fishing outta GI or fourchon and the water is clean i start at 40# but ive seen em swim up l;ook at the line and swim away so we have toswitch to30# then 20 if the 30 dont work. only thing with 30-20 lb u gotta fish the down current side and i dont start dirfting my bait right next to rig i start it 10' away and let it drift away so i can loosen the drag a lil n not risk them running into the legs .

depends on water clarity. dirty water might be able to get away with 40 but clear water 30 and sometimes even 30 is too big

noodle creek 05-16-2012 06:19 PM

gotta hide that hook good

calcutta37 05-16-2012 08:28 PM
