Question about GPS units

Alright guys...My current unit is GPS/Fishfinder unit...The screen is so small that I am constantly zooming in/out while trying to drive and having to stop and look....its a pain...I want to upgrade to a bigger screen for my GPS mapping program...What unit do yall recommend that won't break the bank...Best bang for the buck...Ofcourse I would love one of those 12" touch screens but 2500.00 for that, I can't see it happening...I'm not real concerned about the fish finding/depth charts as I will keep my other unit, I just want a great solid mapping software unit that I can mark spots, go to places I've never been and navigate without having to zoom in, then out just to figure out where I'm at and what route I need to take....Let me know your take!

Thanks! I'll hang up and listen....
