speck-chaser 09-15-2009 10:48 PM

bad to da bone!!! Just love shootin some glock

speck-chaser 09-15-2009 10:49 PM

hows that cal. compare to the 40 or the 10?

LaAngler 09-15-2009 11:15 PM

it shoots about 1400 fps and 500 lbs of energy, louder and more flash than the .40, about the same recoil. it's basically a .40 casing necked down to a 9mm bullet. There are several advantages it has. Better penetration.

One major drawback is ammo availability/cost

wikipedia has a good write up on the caliber (357 sig)

I have the 33 excally like that... i didnt really care for it. Im not saying its a bad gun or anything. It really is a great gun, very dependable, im just used to the kimber, browning HP, colt 1911 model. Im a die hard 1911 shooter.

Bruce, have you ever tried the Spingfield XD-40? really awesome gun..

yak'em-n-stack'em 09-16-2009 08:50 AM

kimbers and colts are what you show your friends, glocks are what you show your enemy!

and I KNOW you didn't mention the word XD on my glock thread! :*****:
