Big Lake 5 May

It's been a few weeks since being able to get on the water and even longer since having a catch worth reporting.
Started the day in the beautiful chocolate milk waters of Turner's throwing top water. Gave that up when the winds shifted to 15-20 out of the South when a little cell came over. Hit a few spots in the channel with a little better luck and picked up this nice speck. Finished the day on the south end closing our limit on reds. Although we threw artificial most of the day, all fish caught on live skrimp under an H&H popping cork. Go figure. Attachment 34198Attachment 34199Attachment 34200Attachment 34201 |
