More good times today catching Nice fat trout and red fish. It was good to have Robert Duffy back on-board with his crew..Allen MCelroy and Steve Clements joined in on the fun. The trout were not stacked up, but we were able to hammer away at them putting a nice mess together for the conditions. We got on a good run for a little while with the purple tiger Highlife Swimmers, and new purple/chart Cocodrie Cocahoes putting a hurt on the specks. Nothing to measure as the trout were all 15-19 inches long. When the bite shut down we took a little ride over to the redfish hole and in no time had the bronze backs coming in. LSU Hackberry Hustler on a gold spinner was the ticket as they could not resist them. Big thanks to Capt Ryan young for running the second boat with Larry Jones and crew from Alabama. Capt Ryan also put a good lick on the trout and reds. Hard work and persistence is the key to fishing in tough conditions!!! GET U SOME. Everyone had a great time duing the DU, thanks to everyone!! Good times as always.
