Those are all some very good reefs. You probably will not get much help on here from people as they do not want boats all over these reefs but most of those are good spots. The problem will be knowing which spots to fish during the correct time of year and wind/tide direction. You just have to get out and try them and keep a record of what the conditions were like.

They are 20 miles out in the gulf....:)

The coord are good but if you dont know what time of year or the tides then they dont do you alot of good....only way to know is to try em and drift or troll into them from way out....

reefs produce fish but no where near as much fish as the birds do!

SGib 04-20-2012 11:58 AM

Just ride looking for birds. Who drifts reefs??

huntin fool 04-21-2012 12:21 PM

Reefs are overrated now due to oyster boats. Your best bet now is to burn banks, find birds, and follow any haynies, or boats containing usually 4 people.
Those reefs used to produce. Not no more. :shaking:

Agreed, following black Haynies usually produce better numbers.

..

90% of the fish are in 10% of the lake. Look at it that way. Fish with a purpose every trip. Good luck.
