Lews Spinner

1 Attachment(s)
The wife sent me to Academy for some vacation clothes so of course I browsed the fishing section. I noticed a Lews spinning reel, so what the hell, I bought it. I had it spooled with the new powerpro slick 8 in high vis yellow. I was wondering if anyone has used this braid and do you think it is worth the premium that you pay above regular PP? Oh since I had a new reel, I figured I might as well pick up a Falcon Bucoo.

I hear good thinks about the slick, they say better casting and even more abrasion resistance, I been meaning to pick some up. Let us know how you like it

Bucoo $110
Lews $50, so $160, the slick 8 was $19.99/150yds

Not bad, post what you think about it after you get to use it because I am wanting to get a few spincast

Forgot... It comes with an extra spool that is designed for braid, its pretty shallow. I put about 90yrds on it, and put 60 tds with mono backing on the original spool.
