New Hackberry Security Zone

The Lake Charles newspaper today [pg A3] has an article about a new Security Zone around the new Cameron LNG facility in Hackberry.

Boats can not enter this zone.....without permission or you will get a visit from the US Coast Guard.

The paper gives GPS readings.....but this does not help the average fisherman.

Can someone tell us where the boundries are located???
Does this zone come out into the Ship channel? If so, how far from the bank must a boat stay to keep out of the zone?

i seen they drove new markers directly across from the plant on the east side of the ship channel bank. I think that was markers for barges or ships to turn around... maybe pivot markers... i seen alot of CG boats hanging there labor day (monday)

They really need to post signs. I'm tired of some clown yelling at me from the fence that I need to move my boat when I'm nowhere near there place. The way I see it if the CG passes by 5 times and has nothing to tell me why would I care what someone yelling from a fence has to say. I really think it getting to the point of harassment.

Register with respect to this rule because the facility will begin
operations before a thirty day period could be completed, and delaying
the beginning of facility operations is impracticable due to the
substantial expense and effort involved, and contrary to the public
interest in having this facility operational.

Opps.......we forgot about setting up a security zone. Can we get an emergency zone set up!!!!

We only had a couple of years to request this be done and can not wait the extra 30 days.

I think this should have been denied.
