Headed out of Heberts around 6:50am yesterday with a couple buddies. Made our first stop at the wiers and only caught 1 small flounder before being kited off by Mosqitos (i am 250lbs and the literally picked me up) lost at least 3 pints of blood 1 can of off and contracted west nile 4 times before 8am. left the wiers before 8 and ran to west cove as soon as we got there the wind picked up from 10-20ish and just killed us. with in 5min of being there my buddy had a BEAST of a trout hit and steal his clown spook.....only other bite besides the flounder all day....we were back in Lafayette for 3pm. Oh well it was fun being out there anyway.
