From the reports it sounds like the DU is on fire. Couple of guides have been hammering the trout out of the DU. Try to PM one of them asking for a little INFO.

I would think the trout would be in Lake Mechant or Sister Lake about now. NE shore of Sister Lake is good for reds

I was there Thursday thru Saturday. Water in the bay close in was dirty. Friday morning we ran to the sulphur mine in Lake Pelto and the water was still murky but decent enough. We didn't get a bite there and headed back in at 10am. I heard at the marina that they were catching a few behind the barrier islands around horseshoe reef. That afternoon we launched further north and fished Lake Robinson/Boudreaux after getting a tip that they were still catching in there. We caught 32 keepers and at least that many throw backs. We thru everything in the box without a bite before finding the magic bait. Pearl Gulp swimming mullet. And they only took it when under a popping cork.

I fished cocodrie yesterday. I tried to run south into Terrebonne bay but was way to rough and muddy. Ran back up to Lake Boudreaux and water looked much better but still only managed a few reds. This time of year the specks will be transitioning. They should be on the islands on the southern bays. When i get a few minutes I will PM you some coordinates. I’m not sure if I will be fishing Saturday or not, but if I do you are more than welcome to follow me.
