Dularge Trout Fishing!
A little more wind today but it didn't stop the trout from eating up our pearl and glo/chartreuse swim baits! Caught a few on LSU chubs but the trout really wanted the swim baits today. Mark Truxillo & Chase Livingston put on a clinic this morning as they had 15-18 in trout coming in the boat faster than I could count. By 8:45 it was all over with 75 beautiful trout on ice. The fish were feeding on shrimp and mullets in about 6-7 feet of water. Big thanks to Capts Gerald Ellender and Brady Giroir for their help today in putting Ashley Levy and their crew on the fish! Kudos to Capt Ricky Brondum for his help with the 2 day adventure with Patrick Hawkins & crew. The guys caught 125 trout yesterday and worked over the reds today for a change of pace. Good times on the DU with 160 fish caught today! Pictures will be posted when I get home . Good luck fishing.
