is this by ponchatrain......sorry you speaking greek to me i only know what google earth tells me about this place

adamsfence 02-15-2012 05:42 PM

nevermind this is the bridge where all the shrimp boats are on parish correct?

Mediumheavyaction6'6 02-15-2012 05:50 PM

Yep that's it. You can also turn just past the bridge by marina motel and launch in what they call da pen. There is a bunch of marsh behind da pen and it would only be a few minutes of paddling.

Skip the kayaking and go to mr binkys :)

Hopedale Hustler 02-15-2012 05:58 PM

Ya da pen would be better for a yak prolly but I know there was a decent bite on the other side of the bridge not long ago...man I wish I had time to be down there right now...it's bout to get real out of BSM come april

adamsfence 02-15-2012 06:15 PM

Look on google maps. Pips landing is listed along with the canal which feeds into Hopedale lagoon
