Salinity Chart Help

Can anyone post a link to check the salinity for the big lake area? I am wondering specifically for prien. I am looking to go do some night fishing off my uncles back yard and was wondering if there would be any trout hanging around still with all this rain. Thanks

Go to the weather/tide/launches tab at the top of the page scroll all the way to the bottom to the USGS REAL TIME WATER DATA tab click on it and you will see the state with a bunch of dots on it click on the dot in the middle of calcasieu parish and there you go

I see that the Hackberry salinity is down below 4 ppm.

But the bad news is that north of Lake Charles the Calcasieu river is at or above flood stage, so there is lots more fresh water coming down to Big Lake.

Let that freshwater roll.... Need to push all those fish from north back south and scatter them back out...... So you don't have 1000000 boats in turners on top each other.....
