Tournament Sponsorship for Sat.
 

To date, no one has contacted me concerning this tournament. I offered a $500.00 kicker for the winning team, if the stinger was caught on Egret Baits. First, a sponsor has to be invited to participate - to date no one affiliated with this event has called nor emailed with any information.

I will roll this $500.00 to the August Salty Cajun event in August. Not trying to bail on my offer, just can't see tossing 500.00 bucks overboard. There are a couple of things most sponsors need.

1. Acknowledgement at event or captians meeting, banner display, ect..
2. Must be artificial lures only. I don't sell live bait!
3. Turn out - Can't give money away with less than 100 entrys at an event. We also require the launch and weigh in to be at the same place to maximize exposure. We do this for the advertising exposure... My only shot at giving away goodie bags was at the launch! A check in is a good thing for sponsors.

I will be at Coolers Friday night for anyone who is fishing and wants free product. I will also be glad to let everyone know how to attract more money and prizes for any event.

very generous offer Ken, but I think this tourney was more for fun and they want to push for sponsors at the bigger event. nice explanation but getting more than 100 entrys has been tough (except CCA shootout). glad you're on board and willing to help support

Ken I sent you a pm as did Micah when you originally posted two weeks ago to ask you to please hold off until the August tournament. Then you will be more than welcome to participate. We really appreciate your interest and generosity. Sponsors like you make will make our tournament a huge success for the charity and our members.
