My New Fishing Buddy
 

My wife went into the hospital Wednesday night at 8:00 to begin inducing!!! Well this morning at 6:10 she finally delivered my new fishing buddy, Cash Matthew Guidry!!! He was 20 - 3/4" long and weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and fire red hair like his mamma! After 34 hours of labor, 2 separate epidurals, and a lot of tear; I have a whole new respect for my wife. That girl is a trooper to say the least. Watching your wife deliver your baby makes you fall in love with her all over again, no matter how rough she's looking. Lol! Here are a few pics of the little man. I like the last one with the "what you talkn' bout Willis" look!

Congratulations. You have a lot to look forward to with that little man. My son is 6 and nothing better than gettin him in the boat and showing him how to fish.

Wasn't me. I drive a Chevy, and I haven't wrecked it yet.

Dr's just informed us they had to move Cash to the NICU. They said his O2 levels are lower than where they would like to see them. Doc thinks it's minor but easier to observe him in the NICU. Hopefully he'll be coming home with us when we leave the hospital!
